Alma y Tierra is a non-profit organization that supports wisdom holders around the world whose ancient traditions and cultural legacy are endangered due to a diversity of environmental, political and social challenges. 

We partner with ancient tribes from around the world to create bridges between cultures and worlds. We organize and host tribal leaders at gatherings to showcase their rich cultures around music, art, dance, food, and healing arts. 

These cultural exchanges inspire and create instances for storytelling and sharing. Most of all, we raise awareness about their challenges often unseen or overlooked by Western society. When we can celebrate beautiful cultural legacies in community and see one another eye to eye, we can begin to imagine and start to move towards a less extractive and more inclusive future for all peoples. This is not a dream — we have been actively witnessing and building this change already.

How We work:

At Alma y Tierra, we are co-creating a new future. We partner with organizations centered around topics of shared action: mainly environmental rights, indigenous rights and non persecution for spiritual practices.

We are creating a sacred space for different cultures of the world to gather around the beauty each tribe can share with each other and the world. Based in our core pillar of sacred reciprocity we believe all of us must share, honor and uplift our unique traditions in order to thrive.

We strongly believe in global peace. Through cultural awareness and sharing, Alma y Tierra (Soul and Earth) contributes to reaching the goal of living in a peaceful world with a clean environment and a colorful soul.
